As you can see the painting is fresco. The reason why I picked this painting is because I am fascinated with the halo. When I saw this painting, the first thing I saw was the halo. The halo is outline and still the same color of the background. I also like the the bright colors and how Mary and Jesus look realistic. This painting makes me feel happy how Mary is playing with baby Jesus. You can feel the love in the painting.
